How It Works
Four simple steps — no technical knowledge required
1. Upload
Upload any PDF document — contracts, agreements, forms.
2. Add Parties
Define buyers, sellers, agents, attorneys — any role.
3. Place Fields
Click to add signature, date, and text fields on pages.
4. Sign
Each party signs via a unique, secure link sent to them.
5. Verify
Get a blockchain-verified Certificate of Completion.
How the Blockchain Protects You
Every signature on OnChainESign goes through four layers of cryptographic security — here's exactly what happens
SHA-256 Tamper-Proofing
The moment your document is uploaded, we generate a SHA-256 cryptographic hash — a unique digital fingerprint. If even one comma or pixel is changed after signing, the hash completely changes, instantly proving tampering. Both the document and each individual signature get their own tamper-proof fingerprint.
Consensus-Based Timestamping
Every transaction on Solana gets a cryptographic timestamp verified by thousands of independent validators worldwide. This isn't a timestamp from our server (which could be manipulated) — it's consensus-based proof of exactly when the signature occurred. More authoritative than any notary stamp.
Permanent Immutability
Once your document hash is minted on Solana, the record can never be edited, deleted, or altered by anyone — not by us, not by you, not by any government. Changing it would require rewriting the entire blockchain history, which is computationally impossible. Your proof exists forever.
Public Verification
Anyone can independently verify a signature using Solana Explorer — a public blockchain browser. Re-compute the document hash, compare it to the on-chain record, and if they match: the document hasn't changed, the timestamp is authentic, and the signature is valid. No middleman needed.
Why This Matters In Practice
In Court
A blockchain-verified timestamp is stronger evidence than a notary stamp because it cannot be forged or backdated.
In Disputes
If someone claims they "never signed" or the document was "changed after," the hash comparison proves them wrong instantly.
For Compliance
Regulators accept blockchain verification as meeting ESIGN Act and UETA requirements for electronic records retention.
For Peace of Mind
Traditional e-signatures rely on vendor servers staying secure. Blockchain verification is trustless — the math itself is the proof, not a company's promise.
Everything You Need to Sign With Confidence
On-Chain Minting
Your document hash is permanently recorded on the Solana blockchain — publicly verifiable by anyone, anytime, forever.
$10 Per Envelope
Send any document for all-party signatures for just $10 — still cheaper than a $75–$200 mobile notary. Sender pays, signers sign free.
Quantum-Resistant by Design
SHA-256 hashing is classified by NIST as quantum-resistant — built in, not bolted on. Your signed documents are future-proof against both classical and quantum computing threats.
Multi-Party Signing
Define buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys — any role. Each party gets a unique signing link. Track who signed and who hasn't.
DOD-Grade Compliance
Aligned with NIST SP 800-171 (CUI protection), FIPS 180-4, and DOD Zero Trust mandate. Exceeds traditional PKI non-repudiation requirements.
Title Company Ready
Multi-party signing, role-based fields, and audit trails built for real estate closings. Compatible with ALTA Best Practices and RON standards.
Certificate of Completion
Every signed document generates a downloadable PDF certificate with full audit trail, hashes, timestamps, IP addresses, and compliance statements.
Legally Binding Worldwide
Full compliance with ESIGN Act, UETA (all 50 US states), eIDAS (EU), UK ECA, Canada PIPEDA/UECA, and Australia ETA.
Done in Minutes
Upload, place fields, send links. Most documents are fully signed in under 10 minutes. Blockchain minting takes ~400ms.
